- On Clay Center's Piotique Festival, Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 the Orchestra will perform 4 free mini-concerts for residents of Presbyterian Manor of Clay Center: 924 Eighth St. at 10:00 am; Country Place Senior Living: 722 Liberty at 12:45 pm; Medicalodge of Clay Center: 715 Liberty at 2:00 pm; and Clay Center Housing Authority-Apollo Towers: 330 W. Court St. at 4:00 pm. These concerts will feature light classical and pop selections, and the senior citizens can play along on several of the songs with hand percussion instruments which will be brought along for them. Because these are free concerts and also open to the public, sponsors are needed to cover their costs.
